CEDP Awarded as The Best Skill Institute in Mumbai

CEDP Skill Institute bagged the Most Promising Skill Development Organization in Mumbai for 2017 at the International Education Awards 2017, held at New Delhi. Hon. Minister for Youth and Education Uttar Pradesh, Former Indian Cricketer Shri.Chetan Chauhan bestowed the accolade to CEDP SKILL INSTITUTE, Director/CMO Mr.Vasim Shaikh.

The award felicitates individuals and organisations for their critical contributions and services to the industry, by rewarding those who have played a significant role in increasing the efficiency as well as performance of the industry as a whole. These exemplary performers, innovators and visionaries exemplify the best.

Council of Education and Development Programmes (CEDP) was formed in the year 2010, with a sole objective of providing improved quality of life to individuals and groups through apt training and education. Since then, the organization has strives to provide the most relevant training solutions to not only the metro and the mini-metro cities of the country, but to the most remote geographies so that the student communities at large can benefit from the knowledge gained from the education provided and enhance their employ-ability and therefore, employment opportunities.

At the same time, it has been a constant focus of the organization towards training and re-training requirements of the companies operating in the nation, to continuously improve productivity levels of the workforce. In this manner, the companies have formidably benefited in terms of the process and costs to hire, train and retain their respective manpower within their system. Currently CEDP has 7 ‘Skill Institutes and Incubation Centers’ across the city. In the training and education space, CEDP provides training in the areas of Paramedical, Hotel Management, Automotive, Aviation and Industrial Safety. Almost all of these programs are either associated with guaranteed internship and/or placement assistance. Since 2010, we have been pushing the envelope in industry oriented short term professional courses with on job training, ensuring that our students have the knowledge and practical skills to make count in their respective fields. And most of these programs are mapped to certificate, diploma and degree level awards and recognition.

CEDP is affiliated with various government bodies HSSC: Health Care Sector Skill Council Under NSDC- National Skill Development Corporation, NSIC: National Small Industries Corporation Limited, NEISBUD- The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development and MSSDS : Maharashtra State Skill Development Society.

CEDP also has a dedicated set up ‘Capable Workforce Pvt. Ltd’ which has built up an effective nation-wide ‘job network’ for the organized and unorganized sectors to drive placements and provide post placement support. We have our tie ups with more than 400 renowned clients across Mumbai and our team has placed more than 2000+ students. CWF focuses on providing the right employment opportunities to all section of the society. In the year 2014, CEDP Skill Institute won The Eminent Educationist Award, in 2015 won the Education Excellence, in 2017 won the Best Skill Institute in Mumbai. Currently we have over 147 Associate-Centres across Maharashtra, trained more than 31,000 students through company owned centres and tie ups.
