    hi Shaheen,
It is a pretty good write up & you are covering so many fields. Where do you intend to publish this?
However one or two points I would like to make is you should give the career trajectory for each course. For example if I am a Chemical Engineer how will I progress forward after some years and what will be my position when I reach the apex of my career. Like a road map. Another feature to be noted is what will be my starting salary and how will my remuneration increase as I travel along my chosen career path. Also the institutes/colleges where I can study for the course of my choosing.
    Otherwise well written.

    • Shaheen Khan says:

      Hi Preetam,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. We thought of this but the article was becoming very lengthy, so we decided to cover it in our future articles. The overall objective is to make the students aware about various options available.

  41. How many years it takes to complete degree after 12 to become an IAS officer

    • Shaheen Khan says:

      Hi Yashu,

Good to know that you want to become an IAS Officer.

First it is required to obtain graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized university. Bachelor degree is the minimum qualification required to apply for the civil service exam. The all India combined competitive examination for Civil Service comprises of two stages. They are Preliminary Examination & Main Examination. Preliminary examination is usually conducted in the month of May/ June every year. Candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination are eligible for the main exam. The final selection for Indian Administrative Service is carried out on the basis of personal interview. Usually the final interview is conducted in the month of April/ May every year.

So the duration depends on how you clear your examinations.

      Thanks

      Hi Rishi,

Artificial Intelligence is the science and engineering of making computer machines able to perform tasks which normally require human intelligence It is a branch of the Computer Science that aims to develop intelligent computer machines.

If you want to study Artificial Intelligence, study mathematics, especially mathematical logic. The more you learn about sciences, e.g. physics or biology, the better. For the biological approaches to AI, study psychology and the physiology of the nervous system. You will have to learn programming languages like Lisp, Prolog, C/C++, recently Java, and even more recently, Python.
