Ms. Shaheen Khan is an Indian woman entrepreneur and educationalist, who has made an outstanding contribution to woman empowerment and education. She is the Founder and CEO of Council of Education and Development Programmes (CEDP). In addition to 16 years of professional experience in the Education Industry, Shaheen has hands-on experience in the field of learning and development. She is a certified GTD Trainer, Coaching Master, Holistic Practitioner, and a certified Transformational Coach from NLP Training and Coaching Institute.

Ms. Shaheen Khan has worked in various capacities and discovered the power of training and self-up-skilling. One of her many stints saw her getting involved in the skill development program where she identified the students, their requirements VS Industry expectations. Identifying the gap in the training being provided and the requirement by the industry verticals, she embarked with her own venture in this field, named CEDP Skill Institute.

In 2010, Shaheen Khan capitalized on her years of business development expertise by establishing Council of Education and Development Programmes Pvt Ltd. The institute aims to foster skill training and create sustainable job opportunities for the youth. She has been a part of the education industry for over 15 years and has hands-on experience in the field of learning & development and has earned NLP Master Coach Certification.

With a vast experience in industries including Education, Community Centers, NGO’s, Shaheen Khan has played a leading role in formulating policies in Skill India campaign and also in the field of educational reform. Her suggestions on inclusive education, industry-academia linkages, skill development and implementable solutions for funding of Community-based NGO centres in Mumbai have been well-appreciated by the government and regulatory bodies.

It aims to provide improved quality of life to youth through appropriate skill training and education. The institute offers diploma and certification courses in many disciplines including Healthcare, Automobile, Hospitality, and Fire and Safety.

Capable Workforce Pvt. Ltd

Capable Workforce Private Limited (CWF) is a placement and recruitment cell of CEDP Skill Institute, founded on 11 July 2017. CWF offers placement support to the students who are in the final year of the programme. It also provides internship support to the students looking for a paid internship in various disciplines including automobile, healthcare and hospitality.

Sidrah Care

Ms. Shaheen Khan is the founder of Sidrah Care, established in 2019. Within a short span of time, the company have pioneered in bringing personalized and professional home healthcare service solutions across Mumbai. An array of services rendered by Sidrah Care includes Patient Care Giver, Nursing Care, Physiotherapy Services, Occupational Health Services and Corporate Services.

Shaheen Khan enjoys reading biographies of people as they provide the most valuable lessons in life. Shaheen’s interest also includes traveling and exploring different parts of the world, as it offers her a great opportunity to meet people from different walks of life.
