The lockdown, induced by Covid-19 has brought the world to a standstill wherein each industry is facing a massive loss. The hospitality industry is one of the worst affected sectors, with occupancy declining by more than half compared to the corresponding period last year.

As people at large all over the world is being confined to their homes to combat COVID-19 pandemic, travel is adversely affected. “A recent report by a job portal states that the hotel, travel and airline sector has seen a negative hiring trend of 91 per cent, highest across industries in April. The national average, as per the report stands at a dip of 62 per cent.”
